Day 1 권위 있게 증언하기

“그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족들을 가르치고 [아버지]와 [아들]과 [성령]의 이름으로 그들에게 침례를 주며 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 무엇이든지 내가 너희에게 명령한 모든 것을 그들에게 가르쳐 지키게 하라. 보라, 내가 세상의 끝까지 항상 너희와 함께 있느니라, 하시니라. 아멘. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (마태복음 28:18, 19)

한 청년이 농부의 밭에 들어가 자루에 옥수수 이삭을 담기 시작했습니다. 옥수수 몇 개를 딴 후, 그는 밭 가장자리에서 "당신은 누구인데 누구의 허락으로 이 밭에서 옥수수를 따고 있는 거요?"라고 소리치는 목소리를 들었습니다. 그는 농부가 고용한 일꾼이었습니다. 청년은 밭 가장자리로 걸어가 일꾼에게 "이 밭의 주인인 농부께서 나에게 옥수수를 딸 수 있는 허락을 주셨습니다"라고 말했습니다. 그리고 밭 주인으로부터 받은 서면 승인서를 일꾼에게 보여주었습니다.

예수 그리스도께서는 그분의 몸인 신약 교회에 세상이라는 밭으로 나가 복음을 전하고, 믿는 자들에게 침례를 주며, 그들에게 주님의 명령을 지키도록 가르칠 권한을 부여하셨습니다. 모든 신약 교회의 구성원은 세상이라는 밭에 나가 일하며, 복음을 전파하고, 영혼의 수확을 거두어들일 특권과 의무, 그리고 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 성도들이 나가서 복음을 전할 때, 주님께서 그들과 함께 계시며 그들의 수고에 복을 주실 것이라는 확실한 믿음을 가질 수 있습니다. 사탄과 세상은 하나님의 백성을 낙담시키려 할지 모르지만, 그들을 거두러 보내신 분은 바로 수확의 주님이십니다.

Day 1 Witnessing with Authority

A young man went into a farmer's field and began filling a sack with ears of corn. After picking only a few ears, he heard a voice from the edge of the field shouting, "Who are you and who has given you the right to be picking corn in this field." It was the farmer's hired man. The young man made his way to the edge of the field and said to the hired man, "The farmer to whom this field belongs has given me permission to pick corn from his field." He showed the man a piece of paper with written authorization from the owner of the field.

Jesus Christ authorized His New Testament churches to go into the field of the world, to preach the gospel, to baptize believers and to teach them to observe His commandments. Every member of every New Testament church has the privilege, the duty and the authority to go work in the field of the world, spreading the gospel and bringing in the harvest of souls. As they go and preach the gospel, it is with full assurance that the Lord is with them and will bless them for their labors. Satan and the world may try to discourage the people of God, but it is the Lord of the harvest who has sent them to reap.

Remember: You can go and witness by the authority of Jesus Christ.
